USA 2022 

In 2022, 7 of our club members embarked on an extraordinary journey as part of an international exchange program to Houston, Texas, USA, where they participated in the Rotary International Convention. This experience marked a significant milestone in our club’s history, providing an unparalleled opportunity for cultural immersion, global networking, and personal and professional development.

During the convention, our members engaged in a wide array of activities including workshops, seminars, and interactive sessions led by Rotary leaders and experienced Rotaractors from around the world. They explored innovative strategies for community service, leadership development, and social impact, gaining exposure to successful projects in areas such as education, health, environmental protection, and economic development.

The program offered our members a unique platform to exchange ideas with peers from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds, fostering mutual understanding, collaboration, and lifelong friendships. Through these interactions, our members developed critical leadership skills, enhanced their problem-solving abilities, and cultivated a global perspective on how young leaders can drive meaningful change in their communities.

Beyond learning and networking, the 7 members acted as ambassadors for Cambodian Rotaractors, showcasing the dedication, creativity, and impact of our club to an international audience. They shared insights into our community initiatives, highlighting how youth-led projects in Cambodia are addressing local challenges and contributing to sustainable development.

Upon returning home, these members applied the knowledge, skills, and inspiration gained from the convention to strengthen our club’s programs and initiatives. They introduced new approaches to project planning, community engagement, and member development, helping our club enhance its impact and effectiveness. Their experience has not only empowered them as leaders but also motivated the entire club to pursue more ambitious, innovative, and globally connected initiatives.This international exchange program exemplifies our commitment to Rotary’s vision of fostering leadership, service, and global understanding. It demonstrates how participation in international forums can inspire local action, strengthen cross-cultural connections, and equip young leaders to make a lasting difference both within their communities and across the world.


AUSTRALIA 2023

In addition to attending the convention, 9 of our members had the opportunity to visit the University of Melbourne’s Dental Faculty, where they met with students, explored the campus, practiced in a modern simulation lab, and attended several lectures. This provided a hands-on learning experience and deeper insight into dental education and modern practices.

Moreover, one of our pharmacy students participated in a visit to a private pharmacy, which was arranged by Trudy Poole and Russel Poole from the Rotary Club of Peninsula 2.0. This visit allowed her to gain practical exposure to pharmacy operations, management, and community services provided through private healthcare facilities.

Upon returning home, our members applied the knowledge, skills, and inspiration gained from these experiences to strengthen our club’s programs and initiatives. USA 2023

In 20235 of our club members participated in an international cooperation exchange program with the Rotaract Club of Benedictine University. As part of this program, our members also visited Benedictine University, engaging with students and Rotaract leaders to learn about their community initiatives and youth leadership activities.

During the trip, our members further expanded their international experience by visiting the Rotary Club of Mountain View and the Rotary Club of Cupertino in California, USA. These visits provided firsthand exposure to how Rotary clubs in different regions organize community service projects, foster youth leadership, and create social impact. Our members observed successful initiatives, exchanged ideas with local Rotarians, and gained practical insights into global service practices.

Throughout the program, our members participated in discussions, joint projects, and both virtual and in-person collaborations, gaining valuable experience in community development, professional growth, and leadership skills. These experiences strengthened cross-cultural understanding, built lasting international relationships, and inspired our members to bring innovative ideas back to Cambodia.This exchange and visits not only broadened the perspectives and leadership capabilities of our 5 members but also reinforced our club’s commitment to Rotary’s mission of fostering young leaders, promoting fellowship, and creating meaningful impact locally and globally.


SINGAPORE 2024

In 2024one of our female members had the remarkable opportunity to participate in the Rotary International Convention in Singapore. During the convention, she actively engaged with Rotaractors and Rotary leaders from around the world, gaining insights into innovative community service initiatives, leadership development programs, and global networking opportunities.

She built a wide network of international connections and served as an ambassador for our club, promoting the achievements, activities, and initiatives of our Rotaract Clubto a global audience. Her efforts helped raise awareness of our club’s work and strengthened our reputation within the international Rotaract community.This experience not only empowered her as a leader but also inspired our club to continue fostering gender-inclusive leadership and encouraging active participation of women in youth leadership programs. The knowledge, ideas, and connections she brought back will help our club implement more impactful projects and initiatives locally, reinforcing our commitment to Rotary’s mission of service, fellowship, and global understanding.


USA 2024

In 20244 of our club members, who are dental students, participated in an international exchange and networking program in the United States. Their first activity during the trip was a special meeting with the Rotary Club of Cupertino, USA, where they presented the achievements, projects, and initiatives of our Rotaract Club. Their presentation was highly well-received, and the Rotary members were impressed by our club’s activities and impact. This meeting also resulted in support and sponsorship from private donors, strengthening our club’s capacity to carry out more ambitious and meaningful projects locally.

Following the Cupertino meeting, our members visited the University of Michigan, facilitated and hosted by Dr. Magnus Wilson, where they learned about university programs, research initiatives, and community engagement efforts. They also visited several private dental clinics in Michigan and California, observing professional practices, management systems, and patient care approaches.

As dental students, these visits provided a golden opportunity to connect Rotary’s global network with their field of study, demonstrating the effectiveness of Rotary in creating meaningful, profession-related opportunities for young leaders. They gained valuable insights into professional development, leadership, and community service that are directly applicable to their careers.This program not only expanded our members’ professional knowledge and global exposure but also strengthened international partnerships and inspired them to continue innovating, building connections, and elevating the standards of service and leadership within our club.


USA 2025

In 20252 of our club members participated in an international exchange program to the United States, which included a meeting with the Rotary Club of Cupertino, USA, where they presented the achievements, initiatives, and community projects of our Rotaract Club. Their presentation strengthened international awareness of our club’s work and allowed them to network with Rotary leaders and Rotaractors, exchanging ideas and learning best practices in community service, leadership, and project management.

During their trip, they also actively participated in a community service project with the Rotary Club of Cupertino, distributing food to people in need, demonstrating the spirit of service and engagement promoted by Rotaract.

In addition, the members met with the Rotaract Club of San Jose State University, engaging in discussions, sharing experiences, and learning about youth-led projects and initiatives in different communities. This interaction strengthened cross-cultural understanding, collaboration, and networking between Cambodian Rotaractors and their peers in the United States.

As the final part of their program, our members visited the University of New England, specifically the dental faculty, where they observed professional practices, research initiatives, and educational approaches. Inspired by the visit, they expressed a strong interest in continuing their education there, recognizing it as an excellent opportunity to advance their academic and professional development in dentistry.

This program provided a golden opportunity for our dental students to connect Rotary’s global network with their field of study, gain practical insights, international exposure, and inspiration for future projects and professional growth. It not only expanded their leadership and professional skills but also reinforced the global recognition of our club, demonstrating how Rotary’s international programs create meaningful, field-related opportunities for young professionals. The knowledge, connections, and experiences they gained will be applied to enhance our club’s initiatives and community impact in Cambodia.


VIETNAM 2025

IIn 20257 of our club members participated in an international cooperation exchange program with the Rotaract Club of One Million Lives in Saigon, Vietnam. As part of this program, the members collaborated on community service initiatives and conducted a project focused on Oral Health Improvement (OHI) and hand-washing education for kindergarten school children in Saigon.

Through this project, our members engaged directly with young children, teaching essential health and hygiene practices in a fun and interactive way, making a positive impact on the children’s well-being.

The program also included an official discussion and physical meeting between the two clubs, where both parties exchanged ideas, explored collaboration opportunities, and discussed strategies for joint projects and long-term partnership. This meeting strengthened the cross-cultural understanding, coordination, and relationshipbetween Cambodian Rotaractors and their peers in Vietnam.This initiative highlighted the effectiveness of Rotary in connecting young professionals to meaningful projects, fostering leadership, teamwork, and international networking. By the end of the program, our members not only contributed positively to the community but also brought back valuable knowledge and inspiration to enhance similar projects and initiatives locally in Cambodia, reinforcing the club’s mission of service, leadership, and global understanding.
